Dense Phase Conveying

Dense phase conveying is a pneumatic conveying method used to transfer powders, granules, pellets, and bulk solids through pipelines using low air velocity and high material concentration. Unlike dilute phase conveying where particles travel rapidly in suspension, dense phase conveying moves product in slugs, plugs, or pulses at slow speed.
