Post-Gassing (Modified Atmosphere Packaging) Systems
Seal First. Preserve Longer. Maintain Product Integrity.
At AMH, our Post-Gassing Systems provide Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP) capability after the packaging has been sealed—delivering an added layer of product protection and shelf-life extension. By introducing gas into sealed packages through a precision needle or injection system, we ensure your products stay fresh, safe, and appealing for longer periods.
How It Works
Once the package is sealed, a fine needle penetrates the pack to inject the selected gas mixture. This process displaces residual oxygen inside the packaging, reducing the risk of microbial growth, oxidation, and moisture loss—without disturbing the product or compromising seal integrity.
Key Features & Benefits
Ensures a controlled environment inside the package, even for irregular product shapes.
Minimizes product movement and damage compared to pre-gassing methods.
Monitored injection volumes and gas composition for consistent results.
Sterile gas supply with clean, automated handling.
Prevents crushing or compaction caused by air evacuation.
